About Me at BIA
Dr. Joe is the only dual credentialed chiropractor and athletic trainer in the Lehigh Valley. As a local basketball and soccer athlete dealing with his own injuries and setbacks, Dr. Joe realized in high school that he wanted to help athletes of any age reach the highest quality of life they possibly can: on and off the field.
He is a graduate of Neumann University where he received a B.S. in Athletic Training and a minor in Strength & Conditioning. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was the recipient of his programs honorary award for excellence in athletic training. After completing his undergraduate education, Dr. Joe attended New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY to pursue a doctorate degree in Chiropractic, graduating in the spring of 2017. During his time in chiropractic college, he gained a much deeper understanding of the human body and its connection to the central nervous system. Dr. Joe utilizes the advanced knowledge he learned in chiropractic college to better serve his patients; getting them back to a healthy, pain free lifestyle as quickly as possible.
Dr. Joe also works as an Athletic Trainer at Notre Dame High School where he uses the same approach to help his athletes get back in the game. He is a Certified A.R.T Provider for the Upper Extremity and is currently working on becoming Full Body Certified. Dr. Joe also specializes in instrument assisted soft tissue massage (IASTM), corrective exercise and rehabilitation. Outside of work, Dr. Joe loves to spend time with his wife Janice and son Jace, and their 2 dogs. He also loves to hunt, fish, and attend local basketball games.
